It’s not perfect, but It’s memorable
Walking into the grandeur of this place is like stepping into history. The old-world elegance captivates, though it shows some wear. Enjoying cocktails near the fireplace while the attentive staff ensures a pleasant evening was a highlight. Be aware of the strict dress code, adding a quirky twist to your stay.

What they got right and wrong
Incredible dining and cozy common areas. Superb service created an experience to remember. We loved the convenience of being a minute from the harbor and close to many attractions.
The lack of air conditioning made our stay uncomfortable during hot days. Additionally, the dress code at the restaurant felt unnecessarily strict, detracting from a relaxed dining experience.

Loved the charming historical vibe of the Inn at the Union Club. The huge reading room and separate library offered cozy spots to relax. Our Standard Queen Room, while small, had a tasteful decor that matched the building's character. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the harbor and near various attractions. It was perfect for walking to nearby restaurants. However, the lack of air conditioning made our stay a bit uncomfortable during the hotter days. We had to keep the windows open, which sometimes let in noise from the street and the local crows. I appreciated the attentive service, but the dining area's dress code felt a bit too rigid at times, especially when I noticed some guests not adhering to the same standards. Overall, it's a unique place, but a few modern comforts could elevate the experience further.

The historical charm and decor of the building add an authentic vibe, truly capturing the essence of the past. The spacious dining room overlooking the harbor provides a pleasant atmosphere for breakfast that feels special.
Rooms remain on the small side, with no air conditioning, making them stuffy during warmer days. fans are provided but that only does so much. Expect limited storage space in the bathroom, which can feel cramped, especially if you're traveling with luggage. The aged nature of the building shows, with some missing decor items and occasional maintenance quirks, yet it's all part of the charm.
